St. Mary Hamburg Parish
Thank you for visiting our website
We hope this site will help you to learn more about our faith community.
St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Parish serves the community and surrounding areas of Hamburg, Pennsylvania, a rural town situated on the banks of the Schuylkill River in the beautiful Blue Mountain chain.
The beginning of the new millennium brought with it the dedication of our new church, a modern, handicap-accessible building situated on a hilltop just west of town. The original church, dedicated by St. John Neumann in 1854, was no longer adequate for our growing faith community. Since the construction of the new church in 2000, the parish has been blessed with the ongoing development of our parish campus situated on almost 30 acres of picturesque land.
If you are vacationing or just visiting the area, please feel welcome at St. Mary’s. We hope you find your electronic visit informative. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Rev. Donald Cieniewicz
Pastor
