Parish Religious
Education Program

St. Mary Religious Education has taken on the model of Family Faith Formation.

Our program aims to encourage and equip parents to catechize their children. By attending two monthly meetings, parents who participate will receive everything they need to teach their children about the Catholic faith at home. Our goal is to help families develop an authentic and lasting relationship with God.

Family meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays from 9 AM until 10:30 AM, between morning Masses, in the Ave Maria Hall. All members of the family are invited to come.

Classroom time for children is offered during the 1st Sunday from PK through 8, with PK open to children who are 4 years old at the beginning of the school year. The program follows diocesan guidelines and follows a cumulative program throughout the eight years with the aim of sacramental preparation.

Enrollment begins in July, however any new family entering the parish is welcome to stop in the  office to be enrolled at any time throughout the year.

Sacramental Years: Grade 3 includes the preparation for and reception of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Levels 7 and 8 are Confirmation preparation levels, with the sacrament of Confirmation being received in level 8.
